1959 Chevy Corvette at the Goodguys Auto Show

Hola, it was raining hot rods, lowriders and custom cars in the last 2008 Goodguys Auto Show held in California. Founded by Gary Meadors in 1983, Goodguys rod and custom association organizes and promotes some of the biggest automotive events in the country.

As we were strolling across the booths, one of us bumped into a striking 1959 Chevy Corvette coated in eyecandy Orange. This beauty has an LS2 Chevy engine that pumps out 550hp and according to the owner, Al Hughes, everything in the hot rod is computer controlled. Now that's called east meets west, huh!

There's an added console in the car that comes between the seats. The door handles and gauges are modified and implemented with new methods while maintaining its retro look. We came to know that this hot rod is on sale and it will be all yours if you're ready to shed down $175,000 American Dollars! We say, the deal's worth it!
